Summer’s Animal Print Look

Leopard and animal print are timeless styles that re-appear as a trend every so often. This summer’s trend is animal print and featured prominently in the runways of Paris and Milan. How to put a twist on timeless trends? We can take a few pointers from some of the top designers. Roberto Cavalli’s collections is all embracing with nature patterns, animal print and asymmetrical cuts. Feathers and appliqué emblazoned the collection. Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, strutted his collection of zebra print high top sneakers, flowered suits , and dragon design jackets.

To elevate animal prints to a 2016 look, add a zebra print blazer to a cropped cotton top and skinny jeans. Add a splash of color with a bold mustard yellow or red rose clutch bag. Want to tone it down for a more professional work look? Swap the jeans with black tailored slim pants. A cheetah pencil skirt topped with a white cotton blouse can bring out the go getter in you. Go safari with a chiffon rolled up blouse with leopard print cargo pants. Add a splash of color for those summer night strolls with a sleeveless metallic snakeskin top paired with bright colored skinny capri or ankle pants.

Summer 2016 is the time to let your hair down and live on the wild side. You can make animal print fit your style in the workplace or out on the town. Make it sexy, make it conservative, make it you.
